Description
This view of the skyline of Toronto is taken from just west of Algonquin Island. Toronto is a city that has acres of beautiful parkland, many wonderful restaurants, museums, and a welcoming diverse population of over 2.5 million people. Toronto sits on the North-Western shores of Lake Ontario, and its most famous landmark would have to be the CN Tower, standing 553.33 m. (1,815.4 ft) tall. The Toronto Islands attract Toronto residents and tourists every summer to enjoy beautiful parkland, biking trails, views of lake Ontario from some well placed piers, restaurants, and a small amusement park.
Going to the island is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city. You can get there in 15 minutes by ferry.
