Description
Butterflies represent all that is free, fleeting, and beautiful in the world. When they flutter past us on a warm summer's day, we are in awe of their majestic and colourful patterns, and just how easily they move in the breeze, on their way from flower to flower, and soon to be off to another yard, another meadow, or across the ocean. It is amazing just how far a delicate butterfly can journey, and perhaps we are just a little bit jealous of their ability to be carried off into the wind.
This image began as a coloured pencil drawing, and was then manipulated on the computer using various digital software applications.
