Description
"Buttercups usually flower in the spring, but flowers may be found throughout the summer, especially where the plants are growing as opportunistic colonizers, as in the case of garden weeds" (Wikipedia). When we were children, we'd pick these delightful little flowers and hold them under the chins of our friends while playing outside in the sunshine. If you saw the yellow reflection on their skin, it meant they liked butter. Of course, we didn't truly understand the properties of light until we became artists. This image would make a delightful addition to a kitchen, bathroom, cafe, or sunroom. It would also make an excellent choice for a throw pillow or simply a set of greeting cards. The Fine Art America Logo will not appear on the final product that you purchase.
