This digital fish print began with a coloured drawing using markers, and was then rendered using several digital filters to create the final piece of art. It is part of my Canadiana Series, and an experiment in Poster design.
The image is one of a typical Yellowtail Rockfish, but I played around with the colours and patterns.
The Yellowtail Rockfish is a type of rockfish that lives mainly off the coast of Western North America from California to Alaska. This fish is also commonly called Yellowtail Seaperch. They can live over 60 years.
