Neither of my grandmothers were big gardeners, but I love spending time around flowers. I think it may be due to my exposure as a child to my neighbour, an old Scottish woman, and someone else's grandmother, who spent hours every day outside in her garden. I'm dedicating this image to Mrs. McFarland; long gone but not forgotten.
