Description
I have two views of this Calgary landmark in my gallery.
Peace Bridge is a pedestrian bridge, designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, that accommodates both pedestrians and cyclists crossing the Bow River in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The bridge opened for use on March 24, 2012.
This is just another sample of several iconic images one can find in the city of Calgary.
On a side note: City dwellers in Calgary have been disappointed with the vandalism and wear and tear problems that have plagued the bridge since its development, but still tourists from around the world have been impressed with its uniqueness.
