Description
In the late 1800's many of Toronto's wealthiest families built summer homes on the Toronto Islands, now known as Ward's, Algonquin, Centre Island, and Hanlan's Point. To this day, there are still homes situated on the islands, and many residents live there year-round. If you live in the City, it is common to take a trip to the islands in the summer and you can walk or bike through the old streets. Many of the original homes have not been renovated or modernized, leaving a quaint charm to the neighbourhoods. This is one of the homes found on Ward's Island.

Thank you, Sarah. So many of the homes on the Toronto Islands are picturesque and well worth photographing.
