Description
An independent movie house now extinct like so many others. Mount Pleasant Theatre was built in the 1920's by architect, La Marque. It was renamed in the 1940's. It stood on Mount Pleasant Road in the Davisville Village of Toronto. It was declared a heritage building by the City of Toronto in 2017, and several years later the theatre closed its doors. Today it is the home of a Family Worship Centre. I took this photo sometime in the early 2000's.
