Description
Taking a walk along an old iron harbour bridge in downtown Toronto, I was attracted to the rusted finials, and the shadows each of the structure elements were casting on the frozen water below. In the late day sun objects seem to glow with their own personality. Pi, a mathematical term that all students learn in early math, is defined as: "the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter".
This perfect circle and all its flaws (a dichotomy) is also casting a shadow in the distance that along with the features of the bridge create its ancient symbol. Look for it.
