Description
When Andy Warhol took ordinary aspects of our lives like soup cans and presented them in collages of multiple bold colours, he forced us to look at the mundane as well as the popular. This one ring found on a dock in northern Ontario is now part of a collage that plays with the pop technique as well as positive and negative space. The viewer can imagine either filling in the missing red to make a complete row down the left; or they can imagine being the player who will now erase the red and complete one the three remaining rows that could make the game.
