Description
During very cold winters, I like to create unique ice sculptures, using balloons and coloured water. After leaving water-filled balloons outside to freeze, I remove the latex and I'm left with abstract shapes with unusual patterns of colour. These sculptures reflect light in an interesting manner, as as they melt in the warmer temperatures they take on mysterious shapes. This one was photographed in the evening under lights from my front porch. The result was that of a mysterious creature that seemed to be glowing. Thus, my title: Fire in Ice.
