Description
David Price was a pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays team of Major League Baseball in the summer of 2015.
Price was selected first overall in the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays and made his major league debut in September 2008. He also played a year for the Detroit Tigers, after a July 2014 deadline deal.
At the end of November, 2015, Price signed a contract with the Boston Red Socks for 31 million dollars a year, for 7 years.
Born: August 26, 1985 (age 30), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, United States
Height: 1.98 m
Disappointed with his lack of loyalty at the end of one amazing season, with the Blue Jays Price did put a smile on his own face as well as his Toronto fans, when he caught the home run by Kevin Pillar in game 5 of the ALDS against the Texas Rangers. Price was just waiting for the ball to come to him while warming up in the Blue Jay's bull pen.
Given his new contract, this image could be a metaphor for what Price has caught.
