A neighbour of mine has a fabulous collection of old tools, used for woodworking and construction projects. There's something about the rusted metal, the worn wooden handles, and the weight of these items, reminding us of the old world of 'do it yourself' that still holds such great appeal to the artist in me. This image contains an auger, a plane, and an axe, leaning up against a cellar wall.
